Possible Rooftopper incident

I just saw this on the news, I don't know who he is, but he may be one of us.

My first thought when I heard, was that he was rooftopping, I guess we'll have to wait for more information to come out in the days that lie ahead.

I certainly hope not. Than again let the Darwin principle sort out the weakest links. Bold/smart is cool, bold/stupid is not.

My first thought was also "rooftopper" but I heard "robbery attempt" on the news.

Does look like a cool roof to visit, looked up some history of the building. It would be a fun write up. Guess we'll have to wait until there's more news.

My sister works there. Kitchen staff were inside when this guy crashed through the 120 year old skylight. Fell 2 storeys down and landed where they were working... they are a little traumatized by the event.

Jesus Christ, that would be one of the scariest moments in my life if that happened

Whether he was roof-topping or burgling, the guy sounds pretty dumb to me. 6:40am is way too late to be up on an occupied building's roof.

Then again, he's probably lucky it didn't happen in the middle of the night. He might have died before being found.

Who the hell decides to climb ontop of a skylight anyways? I'm gonna assume robbery.

Had to read it three times for the information to fully sink in, feel sick to my stomach. I wonder who he was, but no one deserves a death like that.

Luckily he didn't kill or injury any of the workers with his fall from during his burglary. He was a victim of his own crime.

Oh my, and he was only 23 as well. The MO is totally inconsistent with robbery, so I doubt he was up to anything other than exploring.

Poor chap.
