Love the enthusiasm. But most of us don't want to explore with someone that is into doing "stupid things". That's how you get caught or get dead.

I may be new, but finding a good exploring buddy is hard work. I have been a few places with my brother-in-law, who is more into the photography of it all. I'm usually just insanely curious as to what's there. We've been in an empty house or two as a team.

I also explore with my mom, dad, sister and nephew as a group. Those are generally super low-key and I'm usually the one who is looking (and finding, I might add) the POE (if there is one). So far, we've done two abandoned churches in ghost towns.

I'm getting to the point where I might start going it alone on some of the more "easy" ones. I usually like a buddy so I don't get caught in some dark basement/drug ring/fight club all alone with no one even knowing where I'm at. I don't mind a solo mission though...that's how I found a great (now demolished) house to run through. That's another story though.

I think you guys are ALL missing the point. I'm just inviting anyone who wants to come exploring with me, to do so. if you don't want to come then why even bother to comment?

The Buddy System is also handy in case you get hurt, locked in, mugged and butt-raped by hobos, or something of that nature.

You make a good point there.

99% of the time I'm buddied-up. Of course, I do a lot more rural exploration than anything. Which can either be worse or better than those urban spots. Like, lower visibility and less people around...but the bigger chance of pissing off some trigger happy farmers.

It shouldn't be too hard now. You've got a global community right here, and most of us are more than happy to join! I used to think the same thing, but just in the last year, I've met a ton of great people from UER and a couple other local groups as well... I daresay I've even made a few friends while exploring.

Honestly, I'm more giving you a hard time than anything. A lot of people would consider some of the things I climb and pictures I take stupid. So, jahfeelmon. I just don't like taking unnecessary risks or drawing attention to myself. That's what I mean by stupid.
