...And all it cost me was my car. To make a long story short, while driving down the road near this place, a utility van stopped in the lane in front of me, and then proceeded to reverse into me, wrecking my front end. We grabbed a rental and continued with our planned visit, but that debacle costs us more than half of our allotted time, and rather soured the trip. I'd love to go back for a whole day and shoot without anything else weighing on my mind, and I probably will sooner rather than later. That said, seeing this vast campus in the deep snow was a real treat. In any case, here are some of the shots I got: 1.

THAT SNOW. So jelly. Dude, sucks about your car. One of my co-workers was on her way in to work and this lady stopped in the middle of the road, and then just started backing up...wtf. I am always shocked when people do that...did you not look behind you!?

Condolences to the car and you. The sight of snow while exploring is still such a foreign concept to me as a southern explorer. But wow, it is gorgeous. I love the texture is your second shot. Thank you for sharing!

Thanks! The walk in was a bit of a slog. The snow was at least two feet deep throughout the entire campus. We tried to pass through as many buildings as possible on the way to the admin, just to get out of it. It was well worth the effort, though.

You simply can't see the whole place in one explore. Good to see you survived the trek, though. Let me know if you're aiming on going again!

nice shots! haven't seen any of it with snow before. Makes me want to head up there. Any issues with/signs of increased security or anything?

We didn't see a single soul while we were on the property. There was one other set of footprints in the snow, which we followed to get around, but we never saw who made them. We saw people driving on the access road that leads to the active part of the facility before we started following the trail through the woods, but they looked like they couldn't care less.

Where did you park, part of us getting caught last time was probably the fact that we parked right by the trail... We drove around for a bit to find other places but didn't want to get towed

If you don't mind walking along the road, there are a couple of big parking lots nearby that don't care if you park there for a few hours.

What the heck - truck driver stoned on the job :-/ Great work even with all that crap lingering in your head, though! LOVE the snow indoors! Too bad you couldn't find stairs with virgin snow (and another way up). Good luck with the car

Went back this weekend, under much happier circumstances. Made it to six new buildings, including the awesome laundry. Apologies for the preponderance of fisheye, I couldn't resist borrowing my friend's. 1.
