I've seen a lot of threads about hiking and camping. Just curious if anyone else rides ATVs, dirtbikes, or anything like that. Recently Therrin and I picked up some quads and we've rode them both on and off trails in lots of different places and we've had a TON of fun with them. It's a different way to enjoy nature that we've been participating in lately. It's awesome to be able to spend a day just wandering around random trails and battling natural obstacles. We've also been able to find some awesome remote campsites and mines that we wouldn't have had access to otherwise.
Yesterday we went out and played in the mud.

Haha, nice. Currently quads are our 'cheaper' solution to not being able to afford a jeep :p

Same. I'm very much getting into the whole overlanding thing.
However, I'd still like to pick up some snowmobiles and ATVs at some point to make reaching some sites easier.

LOL! My son got it stuck once, and 30 seconds after he let me drive it, I got it stuck. He won't let me drive it now.

Y'aint getting stuck, you aint wheeling hard enough. We used to go until someone got stuck really bad at like midnight and have to make a few phone calls. Eventually by 3:00am we had enough people to really start the party.
