McBarge being renovated for new use.

No, this time, for sure! Not like all those other times it was supposed to be a dock or floating pub or whatever.

But really, looks like it's been towed from its (now past) location and work'll be starting on it soon. Never got to explore this one but seemed to be a Vancouver area classic.

It's been moved up to Haney to have work done. Was moved on Tuesday the 22 of Dec. If you follow the bread crumbs, it's easy to see where it's going. Owner is not saying much, as he doesn't want naysayers. Was pleasure washed, and pumped out the week before the move.

I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too!

I spotted it from the Fort Langley side of the river today. Docked in Maple Ridge. Its damn near impossible to spot from River road if you dont know where it is. Wonder what they got planned for it.

Edit:
I didnt realised this till tonight but 2016 marks 30 years since expo. In 2017 it will mark 50 years since McDonald opened its first restaurant in Canada, more precisely in Richmond(and also the first one outside USA). Its a long shot guess.... But could the McBarge be resurrected? Or will they turn it into something else?

It doesnt matter how you die.
But only how you live.
