For living in Seattle with limited abandoned structures to photograph, I try to take advantage of whats left in the city and take pictures before it gets replaced with what usually are high rise condos. Gentrification at its finest right? I stumbled across this vacant lot on my way home a few weeks ago. Easy to get in, basically a playground for the local graffiti artist. Not much remains left, but it was still just fun to walk around and take some flicks. Enjoy.

Awesome pictures! Love the bed showing through the doorway and the stairs in the last picture. Also, I would suggest the "spellcheck and preview" button so you don't have to edit 9 times lol

Thanks for the feedback, all the edits were due to some of the pictures showing up sideways, but I finally got it figured out.. haha. Thanks again.

Nice pictures and way to find something in this city, like you said everything gets replaced so quickly around here it's hard to catch things like this sometimes.
"See you guys, you never listen to me. I said there was gonna be trouble but you didn't listen to me. You guys are crazy. You know, you guys are self destructive. There's a funny farm and it has your names written all over it. But I'm gettin' out of here. I'm... I smell ice cream!" | |
This must be south lake union area. A ton of construction has been done recently and there no sign of it ever stopping. Nice work!

I think I used to work just down the street from that, or a similar spot. Used to be a school if it is the one I am thinking of.
