Ganesha, Seahawk and I recently tried to enter an old schoolhouse building a good distance from the city which was also around 100 years old, but it was sealed up tight at the time. I'm sure there's no way to know, but I wonder if this is that same building. Looks like there were still a lot of items left inside of your spot.

Looks like a decent explore. What's going on in that second to last photo, is that a hole to a basement or something like that?

Yea, I used 5 medallions to get in ;). The last 2 pictures were from am old saw mill thats on public property. The picture you're talking about is through a hole thats labeled "glory" out to a body of water.

No, but the more I'm looking at your shots, I think your building looks a bit larger than the one we scoped out. I'm probably thinking of a different spot.

You guys speak a different lingo. I'm afraid you're gonna have to explain what you're talking about or some people are not going to have a clue what you're talking about.

You get them for every urbex level you reach. They give you different attributes like cloaking, night vision and invincibility. Theres lots of them. Dont trustthe ones you find on Ebay though. You know. The chinese counterfit ones...

I'm pretty sure all this about the medallions is a joke, or an eccentricity. I hope I'm right, and they don't turn out to be bolt cutters or lock picks or something like that. The first I would say is definitely very wrong, and the second I wouldn't want to know about.

Doesn't seem like MH is too concerned with people understanding him, which I guess is his prerogative. At least we aren't all beefing, at least for now.

Pretty sure this is a different school as it looks a lot larger than the one we tried to see. Plus when I was there on my earlier visit it was a lot cleaner than this looks as much of it had been stripped down to the studs when all the valuable fixtures and woodwork had been removed. Intriguing looking place though, nice find.

Where does this door go, Haven't been through,
It's not feeling normal, What do I do?

I've been here many times, this building is quite a gem but very delicate! Please protect its location. It looks much worse than a few years ago.

What is that green shit? It looks like that glory hole got slimed haha. Either way, interesting location and thanks for sharing. You could a simple point-and-shoot camera that will focus during the dark when it flashes. Gets rid of the blur. (I'm no camera expert, just speaking from experience, because I know someone who knows everything about cameras will jump on this be all "NO")

I think one of the biggest flaws for our composition's... We almost exclusively explore late night.
With headlamps and flash lights somethings just don't turn out that great. I'm sure we will bring a point and shoot out eventually. The sites we've gone to this Summer have been precarious and I don't think anyone has wanted to risk valuable cameras. If our art gets a thumb down... so be it. We love our memories.

I've run into that issue myself. I can't afford a nice digital camera, so most of my nighttime shots turn out looking like blurry pieces of garbage. Some day I'll get something better, and will then need to spend some time learning the intricacies of slow exposure and stuff like that.

For me it's also more about the memories and the thrill of discovery than the photographs. I also like the challenge of getting into places that I shouldn't be able to.

I was giving constructive advice not giving your photos a thumbs down but thanks for assuming everything I say is an insult.

It's definitely more about the memories for me too, some of the locations I've been to I didn't even take pictures. I like exploring and if I take pictures its more for me then the site.

Guess what guys!!!? ......

chickenbutt

I personally like pictures with some blur and that are from a cheaper camera with no editing. monkeyhawks pictures look adventurous and exciting. Pictures that are all super clean and lit up are beginning to bore me nearly to death. Pics that look exactly the way I'd see it in person, make me loose interest in going to the place. With monkey Hawks pictures it is difficult to identify the location but you still get to see a lot of what the spot is about making it a desirable location for me to go to to see what else the spot is about!

I really just try to capture the vibe as much as I can with my camera phone. Its usually dark and the shadows always leave alot to the imagination. I appreciate the complements and criticism though. Gracias.
