Hello everyone, lonnnnnng time lurker first time poster.
I was recently relocated from Cincinnati to the Denver area for work and am thrilled to see a pretty good Urbex community.
I'd love to meet up and check out the local haunts, please keep me in the loop if anyone wants to get together!!

Was just in Cincinnati a few months back and got to meet a few of the locals. There is plenty to see here but most of it is west up in the mountains.

That's what I'm gathering, but that's ok!
Cincinnati was fantastic. Sooo many abandoned factories, apartment buildings etc.
The subway is absolutely incredible, and if you google it the Glencole Hole was quite a gem - but is now a parking lot.

This right here. Most of the stuff we used to explore in Denver has been demo'd and/or redeveloped due to the insanely high price of real estate here. In the city, you're looking at mostly active infiltration, if that's your cup of tea.
My advice as well is to go west, young man! The mountains will reward you.

Yeah, other than the Titans (which are the lone gems on the plains) and a sugar mill or two, not much to see. In the mountains however, lots of great historical mining stuff. Of course now it's winter (don't give me that 'fall' crap, lol) so make sure you're dressed warmly.

yeah i lived out in Denver for a bit last year. the community out there isn't huge, but shoot people some PMs and try and meet up with people, otherwise the best advise has already been offered, head west into the mountains. try shooting stichclimber a message. I met him through UER and hes good company.

I'm in Denver and am new to this website. I don't know a lot of places to go, but I am very interested in exploring new places, so if you want an exploration partner let me know.

There is actually a fairly good sized community of explorers here, if you know where to look.
And concerning the plains...they are a hidden gem of Colorado. There are some ghost towns on the plains that rival their mountain cousins. I've been doing more and more exploring on the plains and have fallen in love with what they have to offer. Not to mention the storms they get in spring and summer are an added bonus as well(at least I think so).
The easy Titan is now not so easy...word is out that they are going to be boarding and chaining it up. Anyone have any solid info on that?

They state at the end that the owner is closing it up for good, and that "30 people were arrested for trespassing last month." Sad stuff.

Lol. I was the one that posted that link. I discovered the article after I asked the question here.
My crew just missed an encounter with the owner when we went earlier this year. I guess we were some of the luckier ones.

Hello. UE is something I've always been interested in, but something I've never had the initiative to really try out. After finding this community I became more inspired, and I've seen some places I would like to check out, but I'm not sure where to start. If there's anyone more experienced in the area who would be willing to show me the ropes, I would be excited to meet up and extremely grateful.
