Hello again, since my last critique I have been working hard to improve on the things you guys pointed out. I recently took a trip just to practice technique. As usual, I know I won't just go from beginner to expert in a month or 2, so I appreciate everyone helping me along the way. My results from this trip were not as great as I would have liked, but in my opinion most of these could be either salvaged by editing or re-shot next time with better composure. Here are a couple I am pleased with, and a bunch that I am not, but cannot quite see what I did wrong. (These were shot with a Nikon D3300 with stock 18-55mm lense. My resizing program strips the metadata, so if it would be helpful let me know and I can post it for any of the pictures. Remember, because these are flawed and I don't know how to fix them, I left them completely raw, they are not even cropped.)

In numbers 6 and 10 I was trying to draw the plants out, but as you can see I didn't really succeed. Rather than give my opinions on any of them, I will wait to see what you guys have to say first.

These are a marked improvement from your last set.
It's obvious in these that you're thinking about what you're doing.

I agree that these photos look more deliberate than your last set which is good. However, they don't really look that much more interesting. It's good that you see flaws within your own work because it's the only way you'll improve. That process will never end. You will ALWAYS go through your pictures at the end of the day and see at least a few that you think 'damn, I should have paid attention to ____'. That's not to say that you won't take photos that you'll look at and think 'Nailed it!' :p
I agree that your compositions still need work. I think you should also experiment with different angles and manual settings. I don't know how you shot these, but a lot of them look like they could have been done on auto. You said in 6 and 10 you were trying to draw the plants out. Pay attention to the atmosphere of the shot.
6. The lighting seems to land directly on the plant, I can see why this particular shot would seem appealing. You could have tried to utilize the lighting with a darker exposure. The fact that you can see a block in the foreground (bottom left) is also distracting and I would have made sure it wasn't in frame. I probably would have come in a little closer and used a wider aperture to really emphasize the plant and only the plant. A different angle could have yielded better results as well.
10. The plant can't stand out here because of all the greenery in the background. Maybe if you had taken it at a higher angle you could have made it stand out against a different background. Again, I probably would have come in closer and used a wider aperture.
Overall, I think you should experiment a little more. You're still too new to this to really sit down and full critique all these and hammer it down to a key problem. There's a lot you still need to work on, but you're definitely getting better and you'll continue to do so. Try some new angles and compositions. Play with your settings, etc.

focus on something better for the 2nd, i love the 5th and focus better on the 14th but i love it.
okay more in depth, for the 2nd, i personally would focus on an acorn more then the grass in the front. The 5th is pretty perfect and the 14th just needed to be focused more on the berries. i picked these three because they're my favourite

Since depth of field and single subjects seem to be your focus, I think you should try three things:
1) Experiment with different crops, especially since these are mostly close-ups. For example, many of these shots would benefit compositionally from a slight half inch to one inch crop/ trim off one side of the picture plane. Or perhaps, try putting some of these into square format (single subject close-ups are good for that)
2) Consider LESS depth of field. All of your shots have depth of field cranked up as high as it can go, but that does not equal a great shot. If you lessen the DOF, and are accurate with your focal point, the viewer has a better appreciation for the out-of-focus part of the picture.
3) Step back from the subject matter with a long lens (you can still get depth of field this way) You might see a different composition that cuts away what you did not want in the background.
