Feel like I'm missing something here. Who's this?

Also, for any newbies that're reading this thread, remember; metal and wet don't mix, and while dangling off stuff makes for a cool photo, you'd better be Spider-man, a Russian gymnast, or clipped in to something.

Yeah, if there were a vote among urban explorers worldwide on who would be the next to fall off a crane, it would probably be him. He's just a blowhard who's just a little too successful at annoying more serious urban explorers and easier to just ignore (I say from the other side of the globe).

Anyway, is it just me or does it seem like crane deaths are increasing?

ive noticed it aswell, it seems people who read about it in the news, tend to go looking for cranes to climb and experience themselves. I personally, will not go climb any cranes, unless its on BF4 lol

Bump that. Never climb on wet steel. 3 points of contact when climbing, always.

There is no "if I fall"... you fall, you die.
Don't think if you fall that you'll be able to catch a piece of steel 3 feet down or more. That crap only works in the movies and the after life.

Don't think twice about turning back on any climb if you think you bite off more than you can chew. A climb can go from easy to sketchy with a 3 foot section of damaged ladder. If it seems too dangerous, it probably is. Being alive to tell the story is the only thing that counts...

Just when I thought I was out... they pulled me back in.

This was a scary one, me and some photog buddies had climbed a crane a few minutes away from where this man died climbing one. We have decided to stay away from cranes for a little bit and focus on rooftops.
