Posted by Adv.Pack Don't take it personally. Its just that urban explorers think ghosts are silly. Anything involving paranormal things will get ripped apart here.
this here ^^^^ Urbexers and ghost hunters or even ghost talk dont mix well. especially in a "snark" tank like uer lol
but seriously My dad worked in the Parker Brothers Salem Mass factory from the moment he got home from nam, till they closed in 1993 and everything went to china.. He is a bit spiritual as well and he will be the first to tell you, a ouiji board is BS and the explanation posted here about how you are actually subconsciously moving it is 100% true

A lot of you people here are being absolute jerks. Some explorers DO believe in ghosts and the supernatural, and that's perfectly okay. If you don't, no need to be an ass about it. Some of you may be religious or spiritual, and that is no different. Someone is trying to share a story and interact with you lot and you're all just shutting them down and basically calling them an idiot. and that makes YOU an idiot.
Now, in reply to the first question asked: if you do believe ouija boards work, you'll wanna be careful with it. it's said you can draw in dangerous spirits and even demons that could seriously mess up your day/life. I'd recommend a standard salt circle around you (I'm serious!) to protect from evil spirits.

Well said Urbanwerewolf. In addition to the salt (which is also handy in case you are assaulted by a mob of supernatural slugs), I would like to suggest the following additional items to fend off the odd summoned demon or imp: a four leaf clover, a horseshoe, a voodoo bag filled with chicken feet and pebbles that have been tossed on a confirmed virgin, the obligatory silver cross, and finally the blue eye of a dog that's been struck by lightning.
With these talismans in hand, you should be absolutely, safe from any metaphysical aggression that the netherworld may throw at you.

And Lord Rick. His mullet is legendary at scaring away just about everything, living or dead.
Just when I thought I was out... they pulled me back in.

Honestly. Everyone here has been embarrassed by something they posted at some point I'm sure. I cringe looking at some of the shit I used to spew off here. This thread isn't even that bad. Plus, at least half the people who seem to be judging you are in no place to do so anyway. This is a hobby. People are allowed to have more than one. Just laugh it off and move on.
Edit: also, hopefully the next person who goes to bump this thread just lets it die. I had already forgotten about it until it was back at the top.
