Hey all, Thinking about buying a semi-auto shotgun for turkey/duck season ---- not a fan of pump action or side-by-side... I've actually never owned a shotgun (but shot many)... anyone have any experience shooting a Stoeger? Would you recommend it? http://www.cabelas...GORY_SEQ_105538680 $500 for a halfway decent semi-auto shotgun seems a little to good to be true...

I've never heard of them either. Reviews seem very positive though. But $500-$600 for a semiauto shotty is a great deal either way.

Found that Stoeger is like the economy-line version of Benelli... which makes sense because Stoeger (other than Benelli) is apparently the only semi-auto shotgun manufacturer that uses inertia drive instead of gas. think i'm gonna make the purchase. they're made in Turkey which is apparently why they're so cheap??

I have no input on the brand or price as I have never owned or even shot a semi shotgun. not sure why about that reason... but... if you buy it, you are now required to give a range report asap.

When I say I'm 'clean and sober', it means I've showered and I'm headed to the liquor store. |
