High quality images on UER

Sorry if this has been covered before, but I'm having trouble finding the info.

I posted a few pictures but really disappointed by the downsampling quality using the Quick Gallery Creator. What are others using to get better quality sets into posts?

Tips? Tricks? Thanks!

Edit:
Never mind, found it!

Most resizing applications for ASP sites will reduce quality, even ASPJPEG.

The best way is to use Flickr or some other photo sharing site and link directly to the image. You do so by clicking the Image tag in the editor (it looks like a green and blue forested mountain). Insert the image URL between the IMG tags.

Some kind person wrote a tutorial on how to do this...

Ditto on using Flickr or 500px. The Flickr site will allow you to pick the size of your linked image. What I REALLY find beneficial is the EXIF data (info about the camera, lens, exposure, ISO) is displayed when you go to the site...this really helps others, like me, learn more about how the photograph was made.
