Ran into this one today. Wish I had a good story but it was an exploration of opportunity. It looks like there was a fire at some point. 1.

It certainly has that 1950's gas station charm with the curved roof extension. The attendant would ask if you'd like your oil checked and clean the windows for you. Those were the days.

Number nine looks like the truck from Sanford and Son. Also, if someone didn't see the inside, it looks like a place that would make a cool, 50's style diner.

Really awesome, man. I'd like to buy and live in one of these someday...

Nice find! I love the old style. It's amazing what people leave in places like that to rot. Kind of sad. It should definitely be rehabbed if it's still a viable structure.

"It should definitely be rehabbed if it's still a viable structure." I agree it could be a great diner or even a nice gas station again gone retro but that wont happen. Its in a sketchy part of town, the roof is destroyed, scrappers have hit it for the copper so there isnt much there but the walls to work with. Given all of that its not economically viable to rehab so sadly this place will eventually be torn down or catch fire.
