This place was my favorite by far. And received a LOT of traffic. There is a really nice trail down to the lake, and we easily saw 3-4 different groups of people. But it was extensive and had a lot to see. They deliberately collapsed/flooded a few places I noticed. Even cut off the bottom of some staircases. 1. Follow the leader

The highlight of last weekend's Portland-Seattle overnight explore. Happily, we didn't have time to look for the powerhouses, so we have more to do here! 1. "Front office."

It would be an expensive site to secure effectively. We noted the "No Trespassing" signs and a woman walking her dog beyond them. We speculated that the owner intends the signs to limit liability should there be an accident and is unwilling to spend any more money on the problem. All the same, the owner and/or community have proven themselves capable of doing more. I recall reading that a boy died there a few years ago. Following that accident, the steel plates (a minor nuisance) were installed. It's no bouncy-house; sooner or later somebody else is going to get hurt.

Urbex bouncy-houses...? Hmmm. I see a business opportunity here! We can rent them out to fat, pasty suburban kids, especially the ones that are spoiled rotten. The ones that make it out have a greater appreciation for the life they have and the ones that dont...oh well how cares? They were weak anyway.

I could be wrong, but that sounds like the main plot of Saw.

Me and my crew came out here a couple times recently first time we decided to spend the night out here haha, I spend well over 12 hours exploring this place, awesome spot, love the graffiti and tags, I think damn near explored every nook, ledge/cranny I found possible getting to. 1.

Except maybe inside the no-man's silo ;) The absence of any tagging suggests its been untapped.

I love this spot. It's got a beautiful view, some neat graffiti, and even a cool, clear lake to swim in if you are so inclined. If I lived closer, I might visit it every few weeks or so in the summertime. I really like the nighttime photos you guys have posted. Walking around there in the dark has got to be fairly dangerous, but apparently you got out with no serious injuries. I'll have to try it sometime.
