MSP introduction (oh god not more!)

Hey all. introducing myself here on the forums. although I have been an avid explore for the past several years and have met quite a few people from the "community" I figured it was high time I got here instead of just lurking around. will be moving to Denver in about a month but will be making bi monthly trips back here to satisfy my exploring itch (sucker for tunnels, and Denver doesn't have enough or at least they aren't as densely packed together like we have)

I understand some rules specific to our region on not revealing any locations and I firmly believe in spot preservation! we have had to many spots blown in the last year alone ("survival mode" and that surrounding area, prestigious locations being tagged, the multiple mill falls, to many photos online, etc) and intend to completely stay away from breaking any of those underlined rules.

don't really know what else to say besides I to see ya out there before i cant make this city my bitch except for once every 2 or 3 months. happy hunting!

MSP was closed a couple months ago. You can't explore there anymore. I haven't heard anything about reopening either.

I want to be different. But I want to be different just like everybody else, because if I really were different, everybody would think I was crazy and weird.

Iowa is Minnesota's bitch. There's an art to pooping.

You ever explored in the denver area before or know any of the locals? They've got some good people out there as well, and plenty of tunnels if you take a 3 hour drive WSW.

If you want to protect the locations you love to explore, don't talk about them online in public!
If you want to make exploring friends, send people private messages! Meet up in real life! Get off the internet!
Don't try to have a UER e-penis! You won't impress anyone! This especially means you, Minneapolis MN newbies!

I will add myself to the list of MSP newbies. As I have mentioned elsewhere, it is with some deep regret that I missed the bus on most anything that isn't a drain.

So, I bought some knee high rubber boots and a flashlight. I anticipate a whole lotta draining in my future!

Welcome, I am rather new myself. There's some caves here too. Caves are cool.

considering you are knew the only advise i can offer about draining, check the forecast. the 1st and only real rule of draining is "never drain when it rains". do your research and put in the work scouting and you can almost never turn up empty handed, at least in MSP.

Quoted for truth.

Read Predator's Approach to Draining, if you haven't already.

Read it again if you have.

Have fun!
