Hello,
My Handle is Digital Panther. I have been a basic member here for a while but have been a bit of a lurker.
I used to do a lot of UE many years ago but stopped due to having to get my life a bit in order.
Now I am starting to do it again. I think I did the smart thing by starting small and simple. But I took a lot of pictures.
I am in the Ventura California area at present. I will likely be moving to Oregon next year. But, in the time I have left here in Cali I am going to start doing more exploration. There are really only two locations in the DB listed for Ventura. I have been to both. well more accurately I have been to one and spoken to the current guard of the second who has said he is willing to let me in to go take pics for the other. I will of course post links to the pics here when I do.
I tried to post my pics to the one I went fully into but since I am not a full member here yet it wouldn't let me. so here is a link to my Flickr acct for that set.

You can still post photos in a thread like this without being a full member. Here's instructions:

You just can't post locations in the database.
Don't get too caught up in the full membership thing. Hang out in the forums / chat, get to know people, and have fun!

I think the issue is that you have to be logged into Flickr to see the link. SO I uploaded them to imgur and provided a link. I tested it on another machine not logged in as me and it seems to work.
Thank you for the warm greeting and welcome as well.
My next stop is the old refinery here in Vent. Alot of it is still standing even after the clean up.
I will post when I do it.
