Is this at a hospital by chance? Just heard a similar story about dirt dumped over a entry point from another explorer yesterday.

Psych hospital, not a medical one. After 20 years they seem to be getting tired of replacing boards, so they're trying all kinds of weird things. The next door over has a big concrete block in front of it, and I've seen at least one door with old radiator covers welded over it.

These two shots were from a warehouse deep in the woods where a schizophrenic homeless artist lived. The entire facility was covered in apocalyptic writing and twisted things he had created.

Maximum creep factor, I would have to say was the desk. It was one of those wooden chair/desk combos we've all seen in one school or another. The back, instead of being flat, was angled from the center, point facing forward so whoever was sitting on it couldn't comfortably lean back. A long hasp was attached which swung down across the open side from which a person would enter/exit the seat, essentially padlocking them into the desk. The whole desk was painted red with "OCCUPATIONAL TRAINING" stenciled across the 'backrest'.
Place was a nightmare factory.

woah, what was the deal w/ that money?

It was stashed under a mattress in an abandoned house. I wish I had the thread link, but the explorers tracked down the surviving family members and gave them the money I believe it came out to be 4500 USD. The family had a falling out after their parents death, but their now working to fix the place up and clean it out.

Wow, we urban explorers are some upstanding citizens

Those who say they can, and those who say they can't are both usually right.

Some, some of us. Others are as crooked as politicians.

I have a lot of shots but unfortunately they were back when I was still using a handheld. This is the guy's toilet and burnt newspaper clippings with other trinkets mixed in on one of the walls.

You know what, I thought of something even creepier that I found. Same place, much further along in the explore. In the basement, as well. Very spooky.

A coffin.

A coffin.

I believe that was a part of a haunted house they had set up in that particular building
