Well, in an abandoned house here in Oakville ontario (in the country area) just on the floor was a VHS copy of "This Old House" and frankly I could not help but giggle.
Every building and site has a story, and they are often of mistakes. Learn from them before they are gone forever. |

If inappropriate please delete, I have smudged out faces of the victims out of respect. Two sets of crime scene photos carelessly left behind at an abandoned building owned by the city. Wished I had gathered more info on these, one set is from the 70's the other late 50's. In the case of the black and white photos, the guy was shot in his car and died slumped over the steering wheel. The second color photos are of a female shot to death. Sad to think that both of these possibly ended up as cold cases.

I can answer this because I was there (but didn't get any pictures of the graphic photos), I believe these things were stored in the basement of the building because it used to be located across the road from a police station - which also sat abandoned. When they demolished it to build something new, the evidence and case files were brought to the basement of this building.

I saw this interesting chair on a recent trip to a local factory. Found this old storage vault in the dark basement on an old building being used as sometime food / trash storage, whole place was very unnerving.

Nothing I found but something kinda weird and funny happened earlier today. As I was "entering" a building in downtown a cop drove by and slowed down. I continued my efforts, smiled and waved, he waved back and drove off. I laughed my ass off!
