All of our dreams now laid on the sand
To wait by the perilous tides
To be washed away into the depths
And sink without a trace
Just a fool's hope remains

Honestly. Who gives a shit who did it "first", or "better"?

C'mon, is this really a competition?

It's not a competition at all but when the actions of one group burn it for everyone else it is an issue. My point in stating we did it first and better was only to illustrate that we have been doing it for years with not so much as a peep but to share with fellow urban explorers. It's true my initial knee jerk reaction may have been a bit harsh, but to be fair the actions of these individuals did burn the site. The au/mc is sitting on some pretty sick film stock that we are not releasing because to do so would ruin an epic site. That said these are lads, fresh and excited, the video's are pretty cool. In the future what we can all take from this is to maybe wait till the crane is down or the site is gone before releasing footage to the general public. That in essence is the point I wanted to make.

I'm curious for those who venture out onto the cranes - (my fear of heights simply won't allow it) - is there any movement you can feel as you go farther out on the boom? From down below it looks damn skinny up there, but I'm sure it must be more substantial than it looks.

Rest in peace, my pal Mowgli - the best dog there ever was.

Haven't been on this particular one (yet...) but been on a few like it. the farther out you go, the more wobble you can feel, especially if it's windy. So far the worst I've found it gets is on par with the a large truck going over Lion's Gate, which isn't really much. They're pretty sturdy, gotta haul all that heavy construction stuff around after all.

For the love of all that is holy, shit just got silly now. Drum solo on top of trump tower. Clearly some sort of social engineering at work to get access.

The same guy that climbed the Trump tower moved to Calgary and YouTubed his exploits on Labor Day. Calgary police now investigating.

This dude's an idiot.

Politics and Public Relations are such a huge influence. The tone in this story is utterly negative. The pair of prolific Russian daredevils go all around the world openly exhibits their exploits and they have a huge follower base but they're practically immune from getting busted.

Here's one of them:

On the opposite end of spectrum in The Good Morning Vancouver and Brooklyn bridge guy case, the authorities went for them after the fact as if they pissed off someone rich and powerful and the police felt some sort of political obligations to catch them.

When you look at them in the most objective simple view, they did the same thing. Ascended a crane to take pictures/videos.

I rarely bring a camera anymore. Hiding behind glass whilst exploring ruined my orgasms.

I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too!
