Nice. Where were you standing when you took the first picture in the North Korea post?

I would LOVE to see an actual exploration of the inside of that North Korean hotel / apartment complex! I believe it is mostly or entirely abandoned, right? I'm assuming you actually took these yourself - if so I'm very jealous!

A couple years ago some Koryo Tours guides were about to do it. Presumably the top is fully functioning by now as well. http://m.huffpost.com/us/entry/1918701

The top shot is the new development the little fat kid ordered when he came to power. I'd guess the photo is taken from the base of the Juche tower. You wouldn't have seen any of it if you came before ~2011/2012. The last one is the Mansudea Assembly Hall, which I did manage to get inside once (http://www.uer.ca/...=1&threadid=119594). Sorry to hijack this thread with my own picture, but I might have a slightly better perspective of that tower. Never been in, but I've been on the site before they restarted construction (try asking about it when you visit the textile factory thing). http://i.imgur.com/B1nNSF2.jpg I've got piles and piles of DPRK pictures if anyone is interested. Nothing too unusual, but not everyone gets the chance.
