Greetings all, Technomancer here! New to the hobby and the forum. The lads and I found a couple of interesting spots in the last week. Even if they're not new to you, hopefully you enjoy the shots. All photography courtesy of TipOfTheBase.
1. Main building external. The most impressive feature here is the large concrete holding tanks. IMG_0193 2. The view down the walkway between said tanks. The pictures really don't do them justice unfortunately. IMG_0195
3. A shot of the back. This site is quite overgrown, which lends nicely to the ambiance, as well as the seclusion! IMG_0188 4. This location also hosts several small outbuildings, as well as multiple ground-level fixtures. IMG_0180 5. The interior of one of said structures. IMG_0181
6. A slightly different angle. We called these "The Budweiser Frogs." IMG_0182
7. The view that greets you on entering the main building. For some reason, really made me think of "The Thing" IMG_0199 8. More interior shots, from the front entrance to the basement. Structurally, the building seems quite sound! Unfortunately the interior has been victim to vandals, transient occupants, and the elements. Insulation, broken glass, and shattered fluorescent tube bulbs litter the floor. The basement was quite damp as well. It all lends nicely to the ambient "creep" vibe. IMG_0205 9. IMG_0206 10. IMG_0201 11. Evidence of occupation. We didn't encounter any "wildlife", but signs point to recent tenants. IMG_0220 12. IMG_0222 13. An attempt at being foreboding. Unnecessary, really, when you see the downstairs. IMG_0213 14. Rust never sleeps. IMG_0216 15. IMG_0200 16. IMG_0219
Overall, we quite liked this location! So easy to overlook, tucked away in plain sight. A great mix of urban decay and botanical reclamation makes for a very visually pleasing setting. Although I would recommend to anyone planning an interior expedition to bring some sort of respiratory safety gear, and perhaps be prepared to encounter locals depending on time of year. I hope you've all enjoyed my first post! Cheers, from Technomancer & Co.

Nice find! Looks like a really diverse location.

This is a great location, I'm amazed it hasn't been demolished. Hopefully it stays that way and the city keeps ignoring it.

I'm honestly amazed it hasn't become more of an attractive nuisance than it has, given the age. Hopefully it keeps flying under the radar!

Does anyone know where this place is exactly? I am heading to Edmonton for all of August, and this would be an amazing place to explore!

Most people on this forum will not share exact locations openly. For all anyone knows, you (or your friend of a friend of a friend who went with you) could be a tagger, scrapper, or for that matter, a cop.
