Pallative Care

Just passing through with a few shots of an old pallative care unit. Recently abandoned:

1. Lights still on
2. Big electronic door locks and security system(s) not engaged.
3. Rooms empty but toilet still leaking
4. Air fresheners in some rooms beeping with low battery indications

The local health authority still lists this site as ACTIVE.
I um... disagree.

1.

2.

3.

4.

5.

There were a number of buildings on the campus, I might go back and try to get in there the way I got into the first two.

Pictures are all of the South wing, I'd estimate maybe 12-15 care rooms in there. Photo 1 is half the length of the front corridor, and the room clusters (3-6 rooms) branch off from the East, South, and West ends of the building. Desk in photo 4 is right in front of the South cluster.

I also explored the main (West, office/management) building which contained some care space, but it was mostly empty offices.

The remaining two buildings were of slightly smaller size than the one pictured. I have no idea what's inside of them. Yet.

I too have been here several times.. These photos must be old, as this building has been dilapidated and practically left to rot. Here are some pictures which prove my point! According to a news article, they are either going to fix it up or tear it down - I think I know which they're going to do though! Too bad that this place has been left to rot!
