Hi all, Jack aka Bugeater here. It's been a while - as a result of an unfortunate theft, and therefore lack of content. My camera was stolen during an open house. It had: My Canon T3i, both lenses, a camera bag, 2 UV filters, and the head of my tripod. So basically I lost everything. There's a small chance I'll find it in the move, but for the meantime I am out of a camera. I have been shooting on film, however, haven't been able to get a roll developed yet. Here's some of the last stuff that I shot. I'm not particularly proud of these shots but I've been gone for too long so here they are. 1. Angular by Bugeater Photography, on Flickr 2. Facade by Bugeater Photography, on Flickr 3. Still 3 by Bugeater Photography, on Flickr 4. Still 2 by Bugeater Photography, on Flickr 5. Still by Bugeater Photography, on Flickr 6. IMG_7551_edited-1 by Bugeater Photography, on Flickr I really don't like a lot of these, but I had to get back out here. I'm thinking of getting a Canon 60D as a replacement - any thoughts?

Sorry about your kit getting stolen. That sucks. I can't offer up much in the way of DSLR advice, but I can say that you shouldn't let lack of top quality gear keep you from shooting. They always say that the best camera is the one your holding right now. Er, something like that. I hope your luck turns for the better soon!

I was just gonna say this. I've taken some of my favorite shots on my iPhone (although I prefer to use my Canon)

I hate fuckin thieves. Sorry about your loss - I too had some top quality dive gear along with amazing footage of a rare event while off the coast of Catalina Island. I know the feeling. On a more positive note - the 2nd set pic #2 - interesting situation and photo there. Wonder how long that bike must have been sitting there. That is not a young tree eating it up.
