Just returned from a cross country roadtrip, getting as far as Vancouver before returning to Houston. I was able to meet up with a number of explorers in Seattle who took me to a few local spots. I shared them in the regional forums, but was happy enough with the product to share here as well. Among the sites were some military barracks, some sort of warehouse, and an abandoned house on the property as well. I'll go ahead and apologize for the focus and grainy nature of a lot of the pictures; I goofed and left my tripod at another abandonment the previous night. Thanks to those that showed me around, it was a real pleasure. Enjoy. 1. Transient Entrance. It was as if someone was directing us.

Specific directions to the transient entrance - WTF?!??!? That's a new one! "Curtains" is a very effective shot for such a 'nothing special' subject matter. And of course, other fav is the monstrosity again (saw on Flickr) in "Machinery".

How cool to see a fresh appreciation of the barracks. Good to meet you!

Pleasure to meet you and the gang as well. Lots of good people in the Pacific Northwest.

I know. It's as if that sign has been there for decades waiting for just us. I love little moments like that. And thank you! The place is pretty gutted, so I tried to capture the personality wherever I could. I actually thought nothing of Machinery as I was taking it, but it might be my favorite as well.
