Facebook group: WW2 photography

I thought Facebook was lacking a specific group like this so I created one. You can post WW2 related photos (think bunkers, tunnels, relics, re-enactment) if they are of decent quality and taken by you. Or if you're interested but don't have any photos, just join and watch!

I actually have a bunch of pics, not taken by me, obviously, that I snagged from work as they were going to chuck out all these old images from old history books we did. I'll double check that they are in the public domain though. There some pretty amazing things in there, some said, some inspirational, some hateful.

Another good group on facebook for this is called "WW2 Colourised Photos". There's one for WW1 as well and the content is posted daily on both.

Those are both just re-coloured photos FROM WW1 and 2 instead of modern day photos of relics, but I think they're still pretty cool if you're not that stuff as I am.

If I can find any of my photos from exploring bunkers in Alaska and Newfoundland 20 years ago, I'll try to upload them. Now what dusty box contains them?

Thanks for joining all! Now I hope it will come to life a bit with people posting awesome finds!

@ L'Ali, I really want to keep this one for 'modern' photos as there are numerous groups and pages with historical ones already. I hope this one will become a collection that will show the 70 year old remnants

@ unlighted-zero
Yep I was already member of that one, very cool. I've colourised photos myself too so I know that it's a hell of a job. Those guys are true artists!

@ Cryptid.JT
Keep digging through those boxes, I'd love to see them.
