This is pretty awesome bridge for those who like old train bridges, this one not to miss. 347ft high, 3rd tallest train bridge in the U.S. #47 in the world. Not for the faint hearted. Another #teamPR adventure!

You need to resize those photos to web-manageable dimensions such as 1000x666 or so pixels.

Bizz, I modified your post to fix the image size issue.

I've thought about checking this place out, but haven't ever gotten around to it yet. Damn, is it tall! I'd probably be nervous about stepping up to the edge and looking down.

Thanks for sharing.

Thanks I'll resize to those dimensions next time (who woulda thought phone photos would come out so big!)

The bridge is pretty easy to get to we literally looked the location of the town and scrolled around till we found the bridge on google maps. Pinned what looked to be the head of the trail and off we went.

It's out on national forest road, nothing too crazy to get to. Lots of tress and shit smashed over the trail to try and keep people out.

The bridge is super high, however due to how close the tracks are togeather it's not as nerv wracking as a bridge like wilburton is where they are a good 9-12inches apart in some places.

There is one section of the bridge I didn't go over, as there were quite a few spots missing that were pretty much in the middle of the bridge.

Knowing my limits and not wanting to get stuck from fear and have search and rescue come pick me up I decided to stay back. Two other members of PR made it all the way across though.

Definitely worth while checking out though, but just know your limits there have been lots of calls from to search and rescue to pluck people off the bridge who freeze up because of fear on the bridge. I just kept tellin my self. "I'm on a Portch in the middle of rhe woods!"
