This place was pretty clean and tidy, until we went up stairs. Took some stealth ninja moves but it was worth it. #TPR

Protip: don't use UER's image hosting from the late 90s. Use imgur or something alike and embed images here instead.

That old meat freezer is awesome. Looks like something out of Texas Chainsaw Massacre, especially with all the dead animals around. Nice find!

What's with the "#TPR" and "#TeamPR" stuff?

That's the name of our team.

@vampirekisses, I plan on getting a photo of this gem from the outside/street during the day. Since we went at night and being so close to busy street with neighbors all around, flash photos outside didn't seem very wise lol. This house was pretty big though, definitely a lot more than when we expected looking at it from the outside.

You know there's an "I" in team now right?

Oh. That's a thing. I forgot that was a thing. My only experience with them has been folks like CT_UrbEx back east. I remember sometime around 2009 they showed up and started tagging every place they went. Ended up spoiling a lot of previously great sites with graffiti and eventually as a result a lot of them ended up boarded up and watched. I'm convinced that they're somehow responsible, at least partially, for the amount of security and demolition among a lot of the better asylums that I used to explore growing up, and the growing attention to preventing exploring in the remaining sites--they tag at least two or three surfaces on every building, like they're claiming it or something, except they're also notorious for breaking things and moving things around. They're regarded as more of a fraternity-like group of explorers and honestly I think they bring a really bad name to UrbEx with that sort of behavior. That's just my opinion, though, and I've never encountered them in person myself, just experienced their aftermath. In a lot of previously great sites, I will add. Since then I've never really had an affinity for 'UE Teams,' it just seems like another way to bring more attention to something already frowned upon by most officials. Anywho. A team for UE. Just because? Or was there something that required the extra structure and a name? Honestly curious here, not trying to sound like a dick.

I think I've explained this thoroughly on many other posts, were just a group friends who like to go out and explore together, and thought a team name would be fun.

True story though, house is gone, one of those get it quick before they bulldoze it deals. Glad we got in it before it turned into a patch of grass.

Golly. Bigger than Life. Seriously. Was that quote motivated by a drill sergeant or boardroom Brigadier?

Cool house, looks like either it was mainly a hunter's place or taxidermist. Shame they left all that work there to rot.
