Everyone is always standoffish with newcomers, don't take it personally. This is a private community and unfortunately not something you can just "jump into" with other people. You have to earn people's trust. I'm relatively new too and have had some people ask me point blank "Who are you?" like they were questioning not only what my name is, but who I AM and what am I DOING here. Once people warm up to you, it's all good. Nothing is meant offensively about the team thing, but from an outsider perspective, it is just kind of funny (or pretentious, some people will definitely think it's pretentious). Welcome to the community, but don't expect a warm welcome from everyone until they have passed good judgement on you. Just keep posting pictures and positive feedback, join the chat when you can. Lots of people will poke fun at you to get a rise, question your ethics, and ridicule you in some way. Just pass it off and you'll be fine.

Ya really we are a small group of friends who have been doing UE stuff together on our own. We didn't even know there was a name for it. One of our friends found this site so we were pretty excited. I'm not really big on bullying and douchery. I just get a sense of if you reply back you'll be booted from the site by badge boy.

Haha I'm not gonna say anything about that except that it's not true. Assume nothing. We are very tolerant. Just like in the real world, there are assholes and there are cool people. Don't let the assholes ruin it for you but also don't assume that everyone is an asshole.
