Seeing these images fills me with mixed emotions. Usually a good sign. I'm glad many of the local members here we able to visit Edison in its "heyday". Still wish I could have seen it then, but, there are other abandonments.
Searching the forums again I found several photosets, as Speed suggested. Some appear to be in (eerily) similar spots to my photos, so I might throw some comparison images together. Awesome shots from Ed and everyone else, I'm eating them up.
CatAndTie, my photos are from March, 2015. What is shown is all that's left.
My friend and I returned last Sunday to see the sunset from the roof. When we had visited the first time, we were confused to find construction equipment and a trailer in storage and "working" bathrooms on every floor. This time, the trailer was gone and in its place were two or three pieces of heavy machinery, more construction supplies, and a fridge and microwave (possibly power back on?). It also looked like they had swept up a bit, at least on the ground floor. I wonder what's in store...

I don't have a ton of images from here despite going here many times. It was in such a shitty neighborhood that I wouldn't carry my camera.
So yesterday I plugged in my hard drives and went looking for more images of this place. Much to my dismay the folder that I know had the most images was empty for some reason. I'm beyond pissed as I'm pretty meticulous about archiving and cataloging my library.
