http://www.9news.c...l-social/24655683/ I'm glad they're repurposing the building and not demolishing it, but I wish they would have left it a little while longer so I could have explored it! Thoughts?

I don't GET why so many say that. It's been incredibly easy to enter for years. Gonna enjoy drinking in it. http://denver.cbsl...d-stapleton-tower/

I haven't actually had a chance to get down there, but I suppose now or soon would be the last chance to get in?

odd, glad they are doing something with it, also glad i splored it when i could. the top of the tower is tiny as fuck, not really a good hang out size.

I always wanted to turn it into a hostel with the city's best chillout room on the top. Ah well, at least it isn't getting torn down. Though becoming a new PBS isn't much better.

It is going to be interesting to have a cocktail there. (Only reason I would go to PBS). It's a strange fit for the hideous hood though.

I suppose it will be much more safe to pay to go up there and drink. You get to look out the window and view the pleasant assimilation of suburbia. Lost in a sea of completely identical buildings, you might stop and think about how the building you're drinking in kind of juts out in the middle of this suburbia, kind of like a middle finger. Also, that park across the street is nice too.

Update: the site looks like someone's paying attention to it now. The top level fishbowl windows have all been boarded up. Old fences are still up, but probably not for long.
