took a road trip to the mid atlantic region here. love this place. the neighbors don't like company, so if anyone has plans of gong here i suggest NOT parking out front and plan on some hiking. 1.

there's a group that's working to preserve it, and I think they check in on it fairly regularly. Those bannister rails were broken the week before I went there (you could see signs of kids partying there), and shortly after it was boarded it up fairly tight.

I'm in love with the grand staircase and I'd be stoked if they actually repurposed this building. It's too pretty just to sit and rot.
