I really love this set - I think it's my best one to date. I tried to incorporate some of the advice I was given on my last set I posted here. Let me know where you think I can improve and how, because I'll be here for a while and I would like to produce the best content possible.
I tried to pay attention a lot more to lines, symmetry, rule of thirds and lighting. I tried my hand at macro photography on a few shots as well.

First off 22 is a lot of photos for a critique... give this thread a read: http://www.uer.ca/...d=1&threadid=31637
So I'll give some broad critique of the set as a whole.
While the composition on many are fairly strong, good use of lines (1, 6, 8, and 14) most of your interior images suffer from one thing...exposure. Most are far too dark to even see (5, 6, 8, 13, 15, 18, 20, and 21). Turn off the flash, put the camera on a tripod and go with a longer exposure. And finally 14 suffers from distortion, you put a wide angle lens too close to the subject, back off and zoom in to compose the shot, or in post straighten the lines.
Over all off to a good start! You have an eye for details, work with that and go from there! Looking forward to you next set!

Thanks! I'm shooting with a Canon Rebel T3i - just the regular lens. I'm gonna bring a tripod along next time to do longer exposures - that's what people say I need.

The general composition of all of these are really good, but they're pretty underexposed. I think you would definitely be ready to try bracketing, with a tripod. It will help with evening out the exposure while keeping rooms exposed and avoiding blown out windows.

Weeding through your photos is going to become a natural part of post-processing. I agree with what Axle pointed out. Your compositions are really great, but the exposure seems off. Just out of curiosity, did you use any filters on your lens? The sky in one and three makes me think a cpl filter may have been utilized.
nyctophilia also mentioned doing bracketed shots which is something that is a necessity to understand when you're doing photography like this. However, don't let the idea of 'perfect exposure' throw off your creativity. For example, I don't think #4 would be as interesting as a shot if it were taken as a bracketed shot and evenly exposed. Though, if you're going to take shots with exposures that are off, it only works if it looks intended.
I always consider the lighting in abandonments to be one of the strongest qualities that makes them so photogenic. Sometimes leaving dark shadows or blowing out highlights can be an artistic choice. You should familiarize yourself with different techniques such as bracketing to understand how to get a quality, even exposure in any light setting, and then develop your own style. Ideally, you'll get to a point where as soon as you walk into a new environment you'll be able to have an idea of how your camera will react to the lighting and what kind of settings you might want to start with before you even look through the viewfinder.
