OK, OK, I'm not totally friendless, but I liked the sound of it as a thread title. I've got a couple of good buddies, but I've definitely got room for more. Maybe it's the warm weather, maybe I'm just bored, but I've been starting to think about picking one of the Seattle neighborhoods I'm not very familiar with and walking through it in a search for possible explore locations and fun spots. I like to refer to this sort of thing as a walkabout. I'd love it if someone wanted to join me. I'm not really looking to exchange information about locations we already know about, but rather to find some new stuff we could check out together. I'd be willing to do this in the daytime, or even late at night ( when there's probably more fun to be had). If this sounds interesting to anyone, send me a PM and we can set something up. We could have a beer first, or smoke a few bowls, or go sober, I'm down for whatever. I'm putting this up as a private thread for starters, but will expand it to public if nobody bites. Don't make me take this thing public, people!

Well, after waiting a week, I have decided to make this a public thread. I'm still looking for someone to go on walkabout with in Seattle; details are in the original post. I'd be happy to meet up with someone new, but it's got to be someone that has at least made some posts and done an explore or two. And as I said above, this meet won't be for the purpose of sharing location info, but rather to do a little roaming and potential exploring together. If this sounds good to anyone in the Seattle area, please send me a PM.

I would be up for meeting sometime, the problem is my schedule, it's pretty irregular and unfortunately I don't get weekends off unless I request it. Daylight will keep getting longer, though, so maybe early weekend mornings would work if I can get an evening shift. I wish there were more people with week days off.
"See you guys, you never listen to me. I said there was gonna be trouble but you didn't listen to me. You guys are crazy. You know, you guys are self destructive. There's a funny farm and it has your names written all over it. But I'm gettin' out of here. I'm... I smell ice cream!"
Cool man, thanks for responding! I'll send you a PM and maybe we can figure something out. I work weekdays, but it's sometimes flexible. And if anyone else is interested, still feel free to send me a PM.

I don't live far from the area (about 3-hours). If I'm ever there, I'll definitely hit you up. I'm always down to explore.
You're not weird if you're not normal.
I met up on Saturday with Luminous Aphid for a while and we ran around and looked at some spots. No huge discoveries so far, but it was fun to talk a bit and swap ideas. And it was nice to team up with a new person! I'm still always interested in meeting new people, and would like to keep it 1-on-1 for now, at least until we know each other. If anyone else is interested, send me a PM.

Same issues here with the schedule: too much going on and not enough time for anything else.

Hey I'm always up for a meetup. If you're ever searching around Belltown just PM me.

I just wanted to put an update on this thread, since I am still getting messages because of it. I appreciate all the responses, both here in the thread, and in my personal message Inbox. I just wanted to say that I am still interested in meeting up with Seattle-area explorers, but that I am currently a lot more busy than I was a few months ago. In other words, feel free to message me, but bear in mind that it might take me a while to be able to meet up. PS... Even though my "running-around" time is a little limited right now, I'm still pretty available to chat and use PM's. So let's chat!

Hi everyone, I would like to chat with some other local folks if anyone is interested in getting together some time. I am out and about in the evenings, usually don't network, but getting bored lately and I found this forum and here I am!

I'm always limited to public transit when I visit Seattle (visiting from Vancouver) but I'm always down for some adventure! Mainly into rooftopping now. Speaking of, gonna be in town this Friday-Sunday, if anyone's interested...
