Here are some photos from two different locations on the same day. The first three are from a rotting barn out in the country. The second location was a motel that burned down in 2010 (all the rooms had been demolished except for 2)
I used some HDR and post processing on all of the photographs.

Hey Nero,
I'm not much of a photography guy, but I like your shots. Without giving your locations away, are these in the area of Seattle somewhere? At first, I thought the barn shots might have come from the bottom floor of a barn on the Eastside that Ganesha and I checked out a few months ago (http://www.uer.ca/...=1&threadid=116672), but now I'm thinking it's a different place.

Big fan of the first three. I enjoy seeing the scope of a room/building/scene more than focusing on the small subjects like the rest. That being said, even the latter photos are well composed. I just happen to enjoy nature creeping into the shot and a large composition. Very good, much enjoy.

Yea, both of these locations are within close proximity to each other, but they're not in the Seattle area. My friend and I spotted them south of Mount Vernon, heading home from BC earlier this week

Love these shots and the angles especially. Thinking out of the box by angling the camera in a direction that the human eye would not normally look such as straight up or an angle from laying down the ground can make things more interesting.

1,2, & 3 are pretty nicely done for HDR, as it's probably one of the most incorrectly used techniques in post processing. you've got a couple of blowouts through the ceiling, which tends to lend the cartoony feeling that isn't very visually pleasing. yours aren't cartoony at all, but those are elements to watch for. manual hdr (bracket and blend) produces much better results in my opinion. with that said, the composition and lines are nice, as well as the tones. i'm particularly drawn to #3: there's a lot going in on that image, but you did a great job of drawing attention to the windows, which give the image an ethereal feel.
4. i feel like there's something missing in this photo. the composition is nice, but the global warmth doesn't allow the other tones to shine through.
5. sunglare! when you can't beat em, join em. the subject is interesting, but the glare isn't strong enough to put the drama in the photo that sunglare can do. i'd have maximized this by taking off my hood, and bumping it up in post.
6. photo isn't sharp. good composition and lines.
you've got a great eye and you know how to visually direct the eye where you want it to end up. nice job!
(i LOVE LOVE LOVE 3. i'd actually hang that in my house, and there isn't an image that i didn't take hanging in my home  )
