Thinking of checking this out in the coming months. Found some stuff online about it but wanted to know if anyone here has explored it recently and have any pointers/tips about it? Curious to how much security will patrol it.

I went there last summer and I didn't see any patrol around. ( I was there for maybe 2 hours) If you manage to get on the roof let me know, I didn't find a way to get there

Entrances come and go, in the past 2 years access has been fairly easy and security lax.

Ive been there 1 week ago, there is a poe but they come and go.

Security is in white SUV patrolling on the terrain, watch for them, beside that youre free to go.

^^ Ok cool thanks.

From what I've read its the Port Authority with are full police officers, but they will most likely give a written warning at most.

The only time we got "caught" there was after an unexpected meet at silo 5 (there were 20 or so explorers that day) and, as we were getting out in small groups each one at a time, my group had the misfortune to encounter one of the secca SUV's. We were around 7 people or so, and the lady kind of looked a bit overwhelmed by our great number, so she just let us go away, without even a warning. I guess she was feeling lazy that particular day... Or maybe the trick lies in the number of people you get caught with (the more the better)? Anyway it was a fun night!

I went a couple of times a while back in October and the site was easily accessible. However,we could only access the two first floor, we didn't find a way up to the roof. I'm hoping to go back and to find the entrance(which is probably not that hard to spot). I've only seen one of those SUV once but from what I've heard they're not that strict.

^^ cool thanks. I really would love to check this place out but I've heard such extremes of the spectrum on the security and difficulty.

I may be going to Montreal to look at some iconic landmarks soon. Always happy to explore drains as well if possible. Just a two day very short trip, in and out!

for those who are still wondering if this place is still accessible it is.
the only thing is majority of the entrances are blocked so you need to climb some gates. just be careful, if you spot a white prius or equinox because these are POE. even though they'll just ask you to leave.

Further update!
It seems in this thread there is no mention of the place current status.

Drove by the Highway yesterday where I normally catch a glance of the place and saw part of the front left of the building and part of the roof is down, it may be the end for this building once and for all.

montreal hasnt had harbor police in years, since they created the port of montreal, they were allowed to use local and provincial police. now they are just security guards

I was there on two separate occasions in the past week or so without incident but the entrances I used are closed up now so someone is checking the place and making sure it’s sealed.

well i mean the place's state hasn't really changed in years. just more graffitis i guess. you really have to be careful because if the gates are opened that just means the security is out. but yeah, once you're in just be careful because there are missing stairs, holes in the ground and etc.. if you're planning to go there during night bring a flashlight or some shit because it's as dark as a vortex in there.
