This place is awesome. I had no idea it was such a popular spot until I got there. Definitely worth checking out if you're in San Francisco. 1.

Neat little place to eat at (not the cliff house) near the top of the hill. I think it's a red brick bldg called Loui's similar to a Dennys, nice place to stop in after a day at the Headlands across the bridge.

Thanks for the tip. I'll have to check it out next time. Have you ever gone to see the windmill nearby?

I didn't know a windmill existed

Is that the Dutch windmill at the Golden Gate park? Nice pictures by the way. I really like Lands End park, there are a couple of interesting places to explore in this area if you keep searching for long enough

I wish I'd had more time to explore on that trip. I was disappointed that the abandoned hospital in the Presidio was already gone. Here's the windmill. It's about a block from the beach, just south of Sutro Baths. There's also a weird mostly underground structure that I took a couple pics of. It was getting dark, so the photo quality was not great. 1.

I love the baths, and that sea cave/cavity south of those ruins on that beach.
