I explored this place in December of 2013. I didn't get inside any of the buildings because there were too many people around, but even from the outside it's a pretty amazing place.
I hope you don't mind the massive number of pictures. There was just so much to see. I couldn't believe how big this place was.

I thought it was so bizarre. I'd never seen a manhole cover reinforced like that before.

Manhole covers. When I was there, a swarm of bees were coming up from one of the manholes. Be careful(no pun intended) where you walk.

Yikes. Good to know. I've been thinking about heading back and trying to get inside some of the buildings.
