New year, new city, new adventures.

This past few weeks have been pretty rough. I was involved in an accident that left me with a totaled card three weeks before I had to move. Now that every thing has settled down, I've been able to go out. Here's some of m favorite shots of last weeks and todays explore.

You can check out the rest of the set on my flickr!

Can you tell us more about the space in #1? I have spent the last three days in a space that looks very similar to this.

Great map in #11. That is so cool.

It's inside of a dome and the echos in there are insane! You literally hear every step, every camera shutter, every breath amplified throughout.

Reptile: Ok, I looked at photo #3 and am assuming you were inside one of those. Nice shot. I've been in a similar structure used for processing beet sugar and the echos were insane. They would whip around inside and the reverb would last for 10-20 seconds. I always wanted to bring recording gear in and sample the sounds but never had the chance. Great experience. I wonder what playing music inside would sound like.

My roommate and I are actually planning on going back soon with guitars to test this out!

Thanks! These locations are actually in Northeast Florida.

Just a heads up.. If you go back to where the tanks are, the site is active again. I drive past it almost daily and there's been construction crews going in and out.
