The title sucks, my photography sucks, the weather sucks... but I got out on the V-Strom for a bit, did some exploring, and took some pics so I'll call it a good day. The view from the road, it would be easy to miss if I hadn't noticed it before and did a bit of Google Earth Exploring. There is an occupied house right across the street, but no signage. I was there with the bike on the shoulder for a good 30 minutes and noone said anything.
Looking down into the bypass sluice
The head of the sluice gate
More of the bypass sluice
Looking upstream
Downstream at the dam
I'm assuming that these would be the gates for the wheel itself. It was so heavily overgrown and filled in that it is a bit hard to tell the layout.
Just a tree growing out of the foundations.
The bypass sluice. At first I thought wheelpit, but I don't see how that would have worked
What's left of the gate mechanism.
Some of the inside.
The tailrace
The back side of the dam
And now just misc pics...

Cool ruins, looks like a sweet spot... Especially with those leaves!

Thanks, I hope to get more pics with some snow and ice... I think that would be cool too. But, you know Georgia weather.
