I left my tripod standing on the floor below, and just took my camera to the top. After I climbed back down the ladder, I heaved a big sigh of relief and headed for the stairs. TR kindly made sure my tripod wouldn't become a trophy for the next explorer.

You have to be extra careful in sites like this. The cam and gear are secondary concerns, always. Stay organized,but most importantly always be fully cognitive of every step you take. One misstep is too easy to do in a site like this. Better someone gets your tripod than you ending up as a blood spatter mark.

Nice to see a thread for this place! I have had it starred on my google maps for over a year now. It's just so far! Like a 5 hour drive but I will go soon. Very nice pictures Ganesha. I miss you man! Hope your doing well.
