So, yesterday I went on a little adventure. After moving into my new place I needed a break and to go out. Made a few stops. Got busted at the silos though not for what you'd think.. The cop had no problem with me exploring the area, just where I parked. After being held up for about 30 minutes he let me go and said "Get outta here, and if you come back find a new place to park your car". Definitely not what I expected... Anyway, here are a few of the pictures I took from yesterday. Enjoy! Oh - normally I wouldn't include the names of places in my photos. I realize however that I did to that on the train station. There's really not much to it anymore.. I remember going to this station when I was younger but service stopped in 2005. I found a small write up about it:
The Lake City Amtrak station was a train station in Lake City, Florida, United States, formerly served by Amtrak, the national railroad passenger system. Service was suspended after Hurricane Katrina struck the Gulf Coast in 2005. |
Apparently the graffiti that's inside dates back to at least 2005. Although it has been covered over, it is still visible today.
