These are some pictures from a great exploratory expedition to Ukraine (Kiev and Chernobyl) :]. The first part is a bit of a mix of 'public' explorations in Kiev as I wanted it to be a sort of an introduction to get the feel of the city, specific locations will come in later posts.

Nice pics, have you been to Lviv? It's my favorite Ukrainian city so far but I didn't get to do any exploring there.
Looks like there was still the Maidan while you were in Kyiv, was it around July? They have cleaned up the tents now.

elizabeth464, thanks a lot! I havent been that far unfortunately, although I heard many good things about that city, I wonder if its worth visiting from the UE perspective... Yeh we ware there at the end of July/ start of August, actually we ware in Maidan when they ware bulldozing the tents! Ill put a few pics in one of my later post.
