Kleen Bright Laboratories, manufacturer of laundry detergent and various cleaning products.
I wish I could tell a bit more about the history of the place, but all I know is from what I was told by a friend who’s company did business with KBL back in the 90’s. From what we could tell from the documents inside the building, it must’ve closed sometimes around 2002 or 2003. I do know that it closed because of environmental hazards and safety violations. (And based on the smell of the place, I don’t doubt it’s a brownfield)
There were 2 buildings we found in Brockport that were part of KBL, although one was mostly a bust, and I fell and ass and almost broke my camera.
The other building was much more interesting.
