A step back in time...

This was a random explore for Bilug and I. We happened to spot it while driving along the Washington coast a while back. It was an old workshop of some sort, and I mean REALLY old. Our interior shots didn't turn out nearly as well as we were hoping, but I do believe the exterior is noteworthy.

Super cool looking. I'm sure there's lots of cool explores along the coast.

Here's an interior shot of the bathroom. What's gross is that there is an open hole down below the toilet which empties directly onto the beach below, presumably to be carried away into the sea at high tide. Clearly not the most sanitary of situations.

The roll of toilet paper appeared to be relatively new, although I can't imagine anyone actually using this toilet. Apparently someone does though. Judging by the mirror placement, someone enjoys watching themselves using it as well.

I believe I've been by here before but don't recall entry points at that time. Thanks for the peek!

OMG! This brings to mind the toilets in the mountains of Colorado we once found on vacation. We called them *PIT toilets. It is a deep dark hole. Thoughts of falling in there makes my skin crawl...

Exterior shot is Awesome!

A fine exterior.

Until recently, ships' toilets emptied directly into the sea. Small boats' toilets still do. Before there were toilets, sailors emptied themselves directly into the sea. Thus the saying, "So stupid he'd piss to windward."

And the toilets in old railway carriages once emptied directly onto the roadbed. But that's another story.

And don't forget the reason they called it the "Poop Deck!"
