This small church has been sitting abandoned for at least 15 years, maybe longer. It is in pretty terrible shape. I call it the Frog Church because the lower part of the ground floor is flooded with 2-3 feet of water. Every time I would walk near there I could hear a bunch of frogs jump in the water. Scared the hell out of me the first time!! There wasn't much to see here, but I had been by the place many times and needed to satisfy my curiosity. I am not a photographer by any means, all these pictures were taken with my phone. 1.

Swan, so good of you to post I like your first photo and as you said the place is in horrible shape. If you go back get a few close-ups of the frogs...Some of them might be huge and would make some good pics

It was lucky I got these pictures when I did. After sitting virtually untouched for 15 plus years this church is in the process of being torn down. We had a new guy start at my work a few weeks ago, turns out his parents have a insurance business directly across the street from this building. Small world. I wanted to go back when I got a better camera, now that is not a option. However I am happy I at least documented the place before it was demolished.

I'll take the bus.

Bus is gone. Likely scrapped, although I hope it was saved. Would be perfect to turn into a RV.
