Stumbled upon this place today while traveling. Shortly after taking a few shots I was asked to leave. At least I managed to get a few in before hand, then brought out my 70-200 for some "distant" shots. 1.

Great shots. Looks like you got a good amount of exploring in before you were asked to leave.

Indeed, I was lucky!!! I was just about to enter the silo to get some pics when this guy came out and was asking what I was doing. There were no signs posted, no fences, wide open so there was no clear indication that you "can't" be there... But hey, if told I need to leave, I'm not going to argue. That's getting off easy in my book!!! Last chance encounter I had I was told they'd call the police and/or shoot me. That wasn't fun!

Nice man! You shootin that 70-200 on a full frame or crop sensor camera? Thats a go-to lens for me for literally everything except urbex photography. Never even though to try it! But after seeing these I may have to give it a shot haha.

Great set. Good thing all he did was ask you to leave. Also, although it makes it stand out more, I feel you went a bit overboard on the saturation but that's just my two cents.

@Turtl - Yes, this is on a crop camera. I have a Nikon D5200 at the moment. I got it because it was relatively cheap and I wasn't sure whether or not I'd really be into photography.. I'll be upgrading soon! @btpp - I agree and noticed that myself. I shot these at -0.3 or - 0.7 EV then tried bracketing my shots. It's all a learning right? Next set I won't saturate them as much. Thanks for your input!!

Same here - 70-200 for most things - rarely for urbex.

Good photos and contrast. The interior is not how I imagined it to be, but #7 looks good in B&W.
