So I ran into this water tower and a train yard just driving around one day. Unfortunately the train yard is not as desolate as I thought, I must have stumbled on a side entrance, so unfortunately I can not go back (nice cop though haha). My drive with some of the originals is somewhere not here, so I only have the edits. Hopefully my next place will work out, should be a sick old mental asylum. As a side newbie question, anyone have a good (semi cheap) recommendation for a new lens. I'm shooting with an old faithful D90, but the stock 18-70 is wearing out and frankly doesn't handle low light well (T stop min 4.6). 1.

Nice shots man! This lens is my favorite, not the cheapest though http://www.tokinal...pro/atx116prodxii/ You can also pick up a Nikon 1.8 35mm for $150 if you buy it used from amazon, I did that, and love mine.

+1 on the Tokina 11-16 2.8. It's a workhorse for urbex/architectural photography. I've had mine for 2 years now with no problems. Also, try using UER's Quick Gallery Creator to upload your photos next time, and uncheck "create pop-up images." Makes for a cleaner photo presentation.

There is a button you can click to not have the pop up photos. Otherwise not bad.

@ Oelky Thanks for the link, just need to wait for the money (curse the college budget) Hopefully my group will all be in town tomorrow (you never know with musicians).
