| Yesterday I arrived home from Barrie with a load of new computer things. A USB Hub which I desperately needed (2USB ports on the machine and one has metal jammed in it) A brand new 30gb Quantum Fireball HDD, My buddy has a cabinet full of surplus parts and a windowsill called his museum (An original IBM 5 1/4" floppy drive thats 5" wide 12" long and 3" tall. A 20meg HDD thats the size of my cat (imagine a 20lb cat)among other things) And a brand new copy of RedHat Linux with the bonus CD and the redhat sticker which I used to rice up my tower  . I shut down the 1.6gb that I was barely running on and inserted the 30gb. Lo and behold the IDEs are dead. New IDE's came today, I got it to boot up with the CDROM and tried to instal Windows XP. Windows XP wont install untill this disc is formatted. It is brand new but didnt come with any factory discs. Thats the thing with surplus items.I have to cut this short as the fish I ate for dinner wants out. And I need new lures after a 23" long Pickerel ran my line along a zebra mussel-encrusted dock snapping it.
