didn't know him, but as a fellow explorer, hiker, and lover of the Oregon wilderness I send heartfelt condolences to his friends and family.

Damn, I just realized who he is - what a shame.
I loved these shots he took using a full moon as his light source
RIP Nick

From a car crash.....God does have a sense of humor. Peace man.
I have changed my personal exploring ethics code. From now on it will be: "Take only aimed shots, leave only hobo corpses." Copper scrappers, meth heads and homeless beware. The Jonsered cometh among you, bringing fear and dread. |

RIP... this was not the outcome I was hoping to see in this thread...
dsankt: In fact, the day I die yall are welcome to form an orderly queue and run a train on my eye sockets. I'll be dead and frankly, will not give a f*ck. budda: That makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. Fuck me sideways this is insane. ~~~~~~ Because it's Cincinnati |

Could you imagine NICKSAn calling a forum members JOB to get them in trouble..........hell no. So you can IMAGINE how irritating it is to see ONE who DID on this thread.

R.I.P. man.
When I say I'm 'clean and sober', it means I've showered and I'm headed to the liquor store. |
|
If you all didn't speak so highly of him then I'd probably feel indifferent, but even before it was announced that he had passed you were posting what a great person and explorer he was. It sounds like there are plenty of great memories there for family and friends. R.I.P

Maybe a Mod could move this to the main forum where more people that knew him might see it?

Done. Sorry for not thinking of that earlier.
It's great to be alive! |

Damn... never knew him but I've spent hours on his site back in the days. One of the photographers I really looked up to as a kid. R.I.P and explore the shit out of the afterlife!

Wow, I don't know how I missed this earlier. So sad. What loss.
Everyone has a dark side, mines just a little more illuminated. |

I saw some friends on Facebook talking about him, lamenting the loss. So sad to read about this. His photography was excellent and inspiring.

He was a great dude, a top notch explorer and a very good friend. This has been a difficult experience.

I am new here so this is my first time hearing of him. It's a shame to find out about such a awesome guy in this way. Condolences to his friends and family. At least there is a bit of a silver lining in that he died doing what he loved.
